A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability has been identified in the Stream plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 4.0.2. The vulnerability arises from inadequate validation in the webhook feature, allowing authenticated attackers with administrator-level access to send web requests to arbitrary locations. This could be exploited to query and modify information from internal services.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for Server-Side Request Forgery, enabling authenticated attackers to make requests from the web application to internal services, potentially leading to unauthorized information access or modification.
Users are advised to update the Stream plugin to version 4.1.0 or later.
