A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Uncode theme for WordPress, affecting all versions through 2.9.1.6. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to inject arbitrary scripts into pages. These scripts execute when users access the compromised pages.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the page.
Users can update to version 2.9.1.7 or a newer patched version to address this vulnerability.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
