WordPress RSS Icon Widget Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the RSS Icon Widget plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 5.2. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with administrator-level access to inject arbitrary scripts into pages. These scripts execute when users access the compromised pages. This vulnerability is present only in multi-site installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled.
