A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the CLUEVO LMS, E-Learning Platform plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 1.13.2. The vulnerability arises from the improper handling of query arguments in the URL, which allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary scripts. These scripts can be executed if the attacker successfully convinces a user to click on a manipulated link.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for reflected cross-site scripting, where an attacker can inject and execute scripts in the context of the user's browser.
To reproduce this vulnerability, an attacker can create a link that includes a malicious script payload in the 'module_id' query parameter. When a user clicks on this link, the injected script will be executed in their browser.
No known patch is available. Users are advised to uninstall the affected plugin and consider a replacement.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
