A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the JSFiddle Shortcode WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 1.1.3. The issue arises because the plugin fails to properly validate and escape certain shortcode attributes before rendering them on pages or posts. This flaw enables users with contributor roles and above to inject malicious scripts that are stored and executed later.
