A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's interconnect management for Exynos platforms has been addressed. The issue involved a memory leak of interconnect nodes during the probe phase when handling Power Management Quality of Service (PM QoS) errors. The vulnerability arose because the newly allocated interconnect node was not properly added to the provider before the PM QoS request was made, leading to a failure to free the node in error scenarios.
The vulnerability could lead to a memory leak, causing increased memory usage over time and potentially leading to memory exhaustion.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
