A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's memory management related to multi-generation least recently used (LRU) handling has been fixed. The issue arose during cgroup migration, where the function 'lru_gen_migrate_mm()' was called before 'lru_gen_add_mm()' had completed. This sequence led to a crash in the kernel due to corruption of the linked list, specifically the 'mm_struct->lru_gen.list'.
This vulnerability could lead to a kernel crash, causing a denial of service by disrupting normal system operations and potentially causing data loss or corruption.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
