A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in PHPJabbers Hotel Booking System version 4.0. This issue allows attackers to inject malicious scripts into the application, which are then permanently stored on the server and executed when other users access the compromised content. The vulnerability arises in the 'SMS API Key', 'Default Country Code', 'name', and 'title' parameters.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user accessing the affected content.
To reproduce this vulnerability, log into the application and navigate to the SMS Settings under the System Menu. Once there, inject a cross-site scripting payload into the 'SMS API Key' or 'Default Country Code' input fields and save the changes. The injected script will be executed, demonstrating the cross-site scripting vulnerability.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
