acmailer CGI Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

Vulnerability

A cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in acmailer CGI versions through 4.0.5. This vulnerability allows for the execution of arbitrary scripts in the web browser of users who access the management page of the affected version.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for cross-site scripting, where an attacker can inject and execute scripts in the context of the user's browser.

Remediation

Users are advised to update acmailer CGI to version 4.0.6 or later, where this vulnerability has been addressed.
