A vulnerability exists in the I/O subsystem of some Intel QuickAssist Technology (QAT) software versions prior to 2.0.5. This untrusted pointer dereference issue may allow an authenticated user to potentially disclose information through local access to the operating system.

Remediation

Users are advised to update Intel QuickAssist Technology to version 2.2.0 or later.
