A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's SCSI LPFC driver could lead to a memory leak. This issue arises when the function 'lpfc_sli4_issue_wqe' fails to issue the Command Management Function Work Queue Element (CMF WQE). In such cases, there is no corresponding routine to free the 'iocbq' request structure, potentially causing a memory leak.
The vulnerability can cause a memory leak, where allocated memory is not properly released, potentially leading to increased memory usage and degradation of system performance over time.
Users can apply the latest patches from the official Linux kernel repository to address this vulnerability.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
