A memory leak vulnerability has been identified in the Linux kernel's ibmvnic driver. The issue arises when the last RWI (Receive Work Item) in a list is processed successfully, leading to a 32-byte memory leak. This vulnerability is linked to a logic error introduced by a previous commit, which altered the handling of reset operations.
Exploitation of this vulnerability causes a memory leak, which can lead to increased memory usage and potential degradation of system performance over time.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
