A segmentation fault vulnerability has been identified in the Linux kernel's AM65 CPSW Ethernet driver. This issue occurs when the module is unloaded while the first slave link is active, leading to a kernel paging request error and a data abort. The problem arises because the cleanup function for the PHY link is called before the network device cleanup, causing a segmentation fault when the module is removed.
Exploitation of this vulnerability leads to a segmentation fault, causing a crash of the kernel module and potentially disrupting network operations.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
