A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's handling of the goldfish TTY driver has been addressed. The issue arose from the incorrect management of interrupt requests (IRQs) when the driver was removed, leading to a warning about attempting to free an already-released IRQ. This problem occurred because the driver did not pass the correct device identifier when freeing the IRQ, causing a mismatch in the IRQ management process.
The vulnerability could lead to improper IRQ management, causing warnings about freeing already-released IRQs. This could potentially disrupt normal device operation or cause issues in the IRQ handling process.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
