A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's null block driver has been addressed, where poll requests that timed out were removed from the poll list but not completed, leading to a request leak. This issue has been fixed by ensuring that timed-out requests are properly completed in the timeout handler.
The vulnerability could lead to a resource leak, with timed-out poll requests not being completed and therefore not released, potentially causing memory or resource exhaustion over time.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
