Fortinet FortiWLC Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the FortiWLC web interface in versions 8.6.0, 8.5.3 and below, 8.4.8 and below, and 8.3.3. This vulnerability arises from improper input neutralization during web page generation, which may allow both authenticated remote attackers and unauthenticated attackers on the same network as the appliance to inject malicious payloads in various locations.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user accessing the web interface.
