NBMonitor Denial-of-Service Vulnerability

A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in NBMonitor version 1.6.6.0. The issue arises in the registration key input field, where attackers can paste a 1000-character buffer payload to crash the application. This vulnerability allows for a straightforward application crash by exploiting the key input field.

Reproduction

To reproduce this vulnerability, download and install NBMonitor version 1.6.6.0. After installation, run the application and navigate to the registration section. Copy and paste a 1000-character buffer payload into the 'Key' field and click 'Ok'. This action will trigger an application crash.
