Nagios XI Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability in BPI Component

A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in Nagios XI versions prior to 5.7.2, specifically within the Business Process Intelligence (BPI) component. The issue arises on the Config Management and Edit Config pages, where inadequate validation or escaping of user input allows for the injection and execution of arbitrary scripts in the context of the user's browser.
