PCHelpWare V2 Denial-of-Service Vulnerability
Vulnerability
A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in PCHelpWare V2 version 1.0.0.5. This vulnerability allows local attackers to crash the application by entering an excessively long string in the Group field. The issue can be exploited by pasting a buffer overflow payload into the Group property field and clicking 'Ok', which triggers the application to crash.

Exploitation of this vulnerability leads to a crash of the PCHelpWare V2 application, causing a denial-of-service condition.
Reproduction
To reproduce this vulnerability, first run a Python script that generates a buffer overflow payload and saves it to a text file. Copy the payload from the text file to the clipboard. Then, open the PCHelpWare V2 Viewer and navigate to the Properties section. Paste the clipboard content into the 'Group' field and click 'Ok'. This action will cause the application to crash.
