Comodo Dome Firewall Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability
Vulnerability
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in Comodo Dome Firewall version 2.7.0. This vulnerability allows attackers to inject malicious scripts by sending crafted input to the schedule endpoint. The injected JavaScript payloads in the SCHNAME parameter can execute arbitrary code in the browsers of administrators who access the schedule page.
Impact
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the affected page.
Reproduction
To reproduce this vulnerability, send a POST request to the schedule endpoint with a JavaScript payload in the SCHNAME parameter. Once the payload is injected, it will be executed when the schedule page is accessed by an administrator.
