Comodo Dome Firewall Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in Comodo Dome Firewall version 2.7.0. This vulnerability allows attackers to inject malicious scripts by sending crafted input through the 'newLicense' parameter to the license activation endpoint. The injected scripts are executed as arbitrary JavaScript in the browsers of administrators.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the affected page.

Reproduction

To reproduce this vulnerability, send a POST request to the license activation endpoint with a script payload in the 'newLicense' field. The injected script will be executed in the browser of an administrator.
