Socusoft 3GP Photo Slideshow Buffer Overflow Vulnerability Allowing Arbitrary Code Execution

A buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in Socusoft 3GP Photo Slideshow version 8.05. This vulnerability resides in the registration dialog, where local attackers can exploit structured exception handling to execute arbitrary code. By crafting malicious input in the Registration Name and Registration Key fields, attackers can overwrite the exception handling chain and execute shellcode, potentially leading to reverse shell access.
