Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird URL Persistence Vulnerability

A vulnerability exists in Mozilla Firefox versions prior to 141, Firefox ESR versions prior to 140.1, Thunderbird versions prior to 141, and Thunderbird ESR versions prior to 140.1. This vulnerability causes search terms to persist in the URL bar even after the user has navigated away from the search page.
